  Sub: - Law Dept:- Legal Assistant Grade-II on Rs. 4600- 7125 in the Law Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram - appointment by transfer applications invited - reg.
 
               According to Rule 4 of the Special Rules for the Kerala Secretariat Subordinate Services, 50% of the vacancies of Legal Assistant Grade-II have to be filled up by appointment and promotion from any other category in the Kerala Secretariat Subordinate Service or by transfer from any category in any Department under the Government or in the Service of the High Court of Kerala. It is proposed to prepare a rank list of candidates for appointment by transfer to the post of Legal Assistant Grade- II in the scale of pay of Rs. 4600- 7125 in the Law Department from candidates eligible as per the above rules. Applications from employees working in your office/Department possessing the qualifications prescribed below , and who are willing to be appointed by transfer to the post of Legal Assistant Grade -II in the Law Department my be obtained and forwarded to this Department in the prescribed proforma which is enclosed herewith so as to reach the Law Secretary, Law Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram on or before 1-4-2003
  Qualifications:-
  (1) Degree in Law of a recognised University
  (2) A minimum service of 3 years under Government as on 1-1-2003.
  Age limit :-
 
                    Must be below 40 years of age as on 1-1-2003, (Other Backward Classes candidates must be below 43 years of age and SC/ST candidates must be below 45 years of age as on 1-1-2003
                      Applications recieved after 1-4-2003 will not be entertained for any reasons whatsoever.
 
                    The persons under the Kerala Secretariat Subordinate Service who have applied as per notification No : 18117/ adm.11(2)/02/Law,dated 1.1.2003 need not apply again. Those applications will be considered alongwith the applications that may be received as per this notification provided they comply with the requirements relating to age as per this notification.
                      Selection will be made on the basis of a written test for which a minimum marks of 40% is fixed.
 
                    The ranklist of the candidates will be in force till the publication of a new rank list after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of 3 whichever is earlier
