THE KERALA WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE (ACT 45 OF 2005) An Act further to amend the Kerala Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1986. Preamble.—WHEREAS, it is expedient further to amend the Kerala Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1986, for the purposes hereinafter appearing; Be it enacted in the Fifty sixth year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called The Kerala Water Supply and Sewerage (Amendment) Act, 2005. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 15.—In sub-section (2) of section 15 of the Kerala Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1986 (14 of 1986),- (a). in the proviso to clause (ii), for the words “rupees one crore” the words “rupees five crores” shall be substituted; (b). in the proviso to clause (iv), for the words “rupees one crore”, the words “rupees five crores” shall be substituted.
